Peningkatan Literasi Energi melalui Pembelajaran STEM: Analisis N-Gain, Effect Size, dan Person Measure Rasch pada Materi Listrik Dinamis

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peningkatan literasi energi siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis STEM pada materi listrik dinamis. Desain penelitian menggunakan mixed methods sequential explanatory dengan pendekatan kuantitatif sebagai tahap utama yang dilengkapi analisis kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas IX SMP PG Komering tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Instrumen literasi energi dianalisis menggunakan model Rasch untuk menguji validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas. Analisis kuantitatif meliputi uji t berpasangan, perhitungan N-Gain, Effect size Cohen's d dan dz, korelasi pretest-posttest, serta power analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 42,10 menjadi 70,80 dengan perbedaan signifikan (p < 0,001). Nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,49 termasuk kategori sedang. Cohen's d sebesar 3,44 dan dz sebesar 2,32 menunjukkan efek sangat besar pada level kelompok dan individu. Analisis Rasch menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa berdasarkan person measure, serta tidak ditemukan Differential Item Functioning (DIF) signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEM berkorelasi dengan peningkatan literasi energi siswa pada materi listrik dinamis.
