Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Business and Management training program at the Vocational Training Center (BLK) Karawang using the Kirkpatrick Model, which includes four levels: Reaction, Learning, Behavior, and Results. Evaluation is essential to measure the program’s success in improving training quality and its impact on participant performance. This research employs a qualitative approach with an evaluation method to gain in-depth understanding of participants’ perceptions and experiences during the training process. The findings indicate that at the Reaction level, participants generally expressed satisfaction with the instructors' ability to deliver the material clearly, engagingly, and in alignment with job requirements, despite some technical issues such as delivery speed and the use of technical terms. These results highlight that the training program at BLK Karawang demonstrates strengths in content mastery and instructional methods but still requires improvements in certain technical aspects. This study contributes to the development of more comprehensive training evaluations and can serve as a reference for other training institutions in applying the Kirkpatrick Model effectively within the local context.
