Implementasi Pembelajaran Mendalam melalui Aplikasi Canva dalam Konteks Pendidikan Masyarakat pada Program Paket B Dan C di PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang

Abstract

Community education plays an important role in empowering learners through contextual and meaningful learning services. The Package B and C equivalency programs, as part of community education, face challenges such as fluctuating learning motivation, low engagement, and monotonous instructional practices. This study aims to describe the implementation of deep learning through the use of the Canva application in the context ofcommunity education for Package B and C learners at PKBM Ash-Shoddiq Lembang. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approachinvolving learners from grades 7 to 12. Data were collected through classroom observation, documentation of learners' digital products, and reflective notes from tutors. The results indicate that Canva-based deep learning provides broad opportunities for exploration, enhances creativity, motivation, and active engagement. Learners produced various digital works such as presentations, posters, quote designs, and advertisements based on their interests. Sharing learners' works through a WhatsApp group strengthened social and reflective learning. The study concludes that deep learning through Canva is effective in community education settings, particularly in Package B and C programs, and contributes to more meaningful and empowering learning experiences from a pedagogical perspective.
