PROTEACH (Professional Teacher Education and Innovation) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Professional Teacher Education Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Siliwangi. The journal serves as a scholarly platform for disseminating high-quality research, conceptual studies, and evidence-based educational practices that contribute to the advancement of teacher professionalism and educational innovation. Through a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, PROTEACH promotes scientific integrity, academic excellence, and meaningful contributions to the development of professional teacher education.

The journal welcomes original manuscripts that address contemporary issues in teacher education and educational practice, including teacher professionalism and competency development, innovative teaching and learning strategies, curriculum development and educational policy, assessment and evaluation of learning, character education, 21st-century competencies, guidance and counseling, and technology-enhanced learning. PROTEACH also encourages studies that integrate digital technologies, classroom-based innovations, and reflective teaching practices to improve educational quality across diverse learning contexts.

Interdisciplinary contributions are encouraged, provided they demonstrate a clear connection to professional teacher education and educational practice. The journal publishes empirical research, literature reviews, conceptual papers, classroom action research, and other scholarly works that offer theoretical insights and practical implications for teachers, teacher educators, researchers, and educational practitioners. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure methodological rigor, ethical publication standards, and significant scholarly contributions to national and international educational discourse.

Manuscripts submitted to PROTEACH must strictly comply with the PROTEACH Article Template, Author Guidelines, and the journal's Focus and Scope. Compliance with these requirements is essential to ensure consistency in manuscript preparation and alignment with the journal's publication standards. Submissions that fail to meet these requirements may be returned to the authors or declined during the preliminary editorial assessment.

All submitted manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using a recognized similarity detection system before entering the review process. PROTEACH accepts manuscripts with a maximum overall similarity index of 20%, with no more than 5% similarity originating from a single source. Manuscripts that exceed these thresholds or indicate plagiarism will be rejected or returned to the authors for revision in accordance with the journal's publication ethics.

Before proceeding to the double-blind peer-review process, each manuscript is subject to an initial editorial assessment. This evaluation examines the manuscript's compliance with the journal's scope, formatting requirements, ethical standards, originality, and overall academic quality. Only manuscripts that satisfy these editorial criteria will be forwarded for double-blind peer review.

Authors are required to Register for an account or Log In to the PROTEACH Open Journal System (OJS) before submitting a manuscript. All manuscript submissions, revisions, and editorial communications are managed exclusively through the online journal system. Authors may also use their accounts to monitor the progress of their manuscripts throughout the editorial and double-blind peer-review process.
